Collective Worship

At Catsfield CE Primary, our Christian values—friendship, compassion, perseverance, wisdom, respect, and community—are woven into the fabric of school life. Inspired by our guiding scripture, “Stir up the gifts within you” (2 Timothy 1:6), we nurture every child’s unique potential, encouraging them to ‘Nurture the Spirit’, ‘Grow the Mind’ and ‘Love your Neighbour’.

The heartbeat of our school daily collective worship is a cherished time of reflection, connection, and spiritual growth. It is inclusive, invitational, and inspirational—offering every child a space to encounter faith, explore meaning, and deepen their understanding of themselves and others. Each term, we focus on one of our core Christian values.

Our worship is thoughtfully planned to spark deep discussion and personal reflection. Children are encouraged to explore what matters to them, to challenge injustice and intolerance, and to engage with national and global issues with empathy and insight. We foster a culture where every voice is valued and every child is empowered to think critically and compassionately.
